Selectivity and efficacy of herbicides applied on barley for weed control

چکیده
Ryegrass and turnip are weeds that cause high yield losses when infesting barley, thus requiring adequate management. In this context, the aim of study was to evaluate selectivity different herbicide treatments weed control in barley crop, cultivar BRS Cauê. Two field experiments were conducted randomized blocks, with four replications. The used were: pendimethalin (800 g·ha-1), sulfentrazone + diuron (175 350 imazaquim (150 g·ha-1 a. e.) applied pre-emergence; iodosulfuron (3.5 pyroxsulam (18 metsulfuron-methyl (3.96 2,4-D (670 e.), clodinafop-propargyl (48 bentazon imazamox (600 28 saflufenacil (49 (720 carfentrazone-ethyl (120 (42 g·ha-1) post-emergence, two controls (one weeded other infested). use caused levels phytotoxicity barley. Gas exchange less responsive applications relation productivity. Clodinafop-propargil showed best ryegrass, while herbicides iodosulfuron, pyroxsulam, metsulfurom-methyl, 2,4-D, imazamox, saflufenacil, bentazon, carfentrazone-ethyl, efficiency species. Imazaquim reduction up 74.7% grain yield. On hand, iodosulufuron piroxsulam allowed highest yields cultivar, Cauê, by promoting partial ryegrass total species, followed metsulfuron-methyl, which controlled turnip, respectively, allowing an increase infested control.

Weed Control Efficacy and Citrus Response to Flazasulfuron Applied Alone or in Combination with Other Herbicides
Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the phytotoxicity of flazasulfuron on citrus species and efficacy on weeds when applied alone or in combination with other herbicides. Grapefruit was the most sensitive and tangerine was the least sensitive to flazasulfuron. Injury to grapefruit was 70% with the application of flazasulfuron at 0.20 kg a.i. ha at 60 DAT and was reduced (5%) when flaza...
متن کاملMicrobial Weed Control and Microbial Herbicides
Microbial weed control represents an innovative means to manage troublesome weeds and utilize the naturally occurring biological herbicides produced by soil microorganisms. These compounds kill or hinder the growth of weeds so that beneficial plant species can gain a competitive advantage. The vast diversity of microorganisms in our environment is largely untapped, and the potential discovery a...
متن کاملSynergy between Synthetic and Microbial Herbicides for Weed Control
Synthetic herbicides have been investigated as tools to synergize mycoherbicides (fungal bioherbicides) for improved efficacy or management of hard-to-control weed problems. Herbicides may weaken weeds and impair their defence systems, thus making weeds more vulnerable to mycoherbicide infection. Despite many positive results, the practical value of synergy remains elusive. This review will dis...
